Verizon launched a new phone today, the Samsung Saga. It’s kicking a 2.55″ touchscreen, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, an optical mouse and the usual slew of smartphone features. For an added benefit there’s a preinstalled SIM card so you can go pretty much any where in the World with this phone - 200 countries to be exact.
The Saga is available here for $200 after a $70 mail-in-rebate and 2-year signing.

AT&T launched launched the Samsung Eternity today. It’ll go for $149 after a year contract and $50 mail-in-rebate. You can expect the following features: 3 megapixel camera (video as well), 3G connectivity, GPS, a media player, AT&T’s Mobile TV, video share calling, Bluetooth, a microSD card slot for expansion, web browser, and a 3.2″ (240×400) touchscreen with haptic feedback plus accelerometer.

The LG Prada II cell phone will hit store shelves on November 13th, which is next Tuesday. The news is pretty moot considering that lack of upgrades from the first device. Expect HSDPA, touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera and a full HTML browser.
No official word on price, but they’ll be launching the device at a high end London event.

Next we’ll be hearing rumors of aliens and such. I’d take this with a grain of salt, but according to analyst group Global Equities Research founder Trip Chowdhry the iPhone will hit Costco stores January 09 for $150 a pop.

Nokia officially announced the E61 yesterday. It’ll be available in the EU for EUR 199 ($353 US) and hit store shelves in the ‘coming weeks’. Major differences between the E71? Nothing really. Just a smaller space bar and available in red and blue. Woopteedoo.

It ain’t a new device, but new to the Sprint line up. Starting October 26th in select retailers and store wide November 2nd, Sprint customers, or soon to be Sprint customers will be able to purchase an HTC Touch Pro for $300 after a 2-year agreement and $100 mail-in-rebate. The phone features a slide out 5-row QWERTY keyboard, 2.8-inch VGA touchscreen, TouchFLO 3D, 3.2MP camera and much more.
Official release after the ‘leap’ (more…)

Yup, come November 3rd you’ll be able to pickup what I believe is Motorola’s first 5 megapixel camera phone. No serious thrills, but expect EDGE, quad band GSM connectivity, a 2.4-inch high resolution screen, video capture and video messaging.
Sorry, no official word on pricing for the Motozine5.

Calm down, it’s just another Blackberry. Ok, maybe it’s more then another Blackberry, but still. According to BGR, and his endless insider resources, not to mention an internal AT&T email, the Blackberry Bold will hit AT&T on October 27th. Last month BGR obtained a Best Buy inventory screen shot pegging the Blackberry Bold on the retailer’s store shelves by October 26th.
Stamping this one Phone Dig approved.

Don’t leave home in the midwest without your beats. That’s why Alltel launched the LG Rhythm on Thursday. It features a circular iPodesque touch sensitive wheel, a 1.3MP camera, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, microSD card slot, and FM radio.
The LG Rhythm is availble now for $120 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and a 2-year ‘lose your soul’ contract.
