Right on the heels of beta 3, Apple released beta 4 of their iPhone OS 3.0 to developers. No major changes but there seems to be optimizations to increase the speed of the OS. Also, there’s a new option for “Store” in the settings app which allows a user to sign in and out of the iTunes store.

Details of the final version of iPhone OS 3.0, as well as the new iPhone, are expected to be released in about a month at the Worldwide Developers Conference.
