AT&T announced a new ‘Send To Mobile’ feature which allows customers to push content from the att.net web portal to their AT&T mobile device. Customers can sign up for a free att.net account with unlimited storage and start pushing links to content such as news, weather, sports, etc. Additionally, users can also send links to popular mobile sites like Facebook and MySpace.

So where’s the kicker? What’s so cool about this? Couldn’t you already do this by e-mailing ANY link to your phone? Welcome to the 21st century?
