curve-8900-white

According to a photo, it appears AT&T will be releasing a white version of the BlackBerry Curve 8900. Perhaps it was a case of big brother Bold envy? From the looks of it, the 8900 will have a cool white bezel but without the white leather back.

AT&T’s $99 iPhone 3GS 8GB On The Horizon?

November 5th, 2009 2:32 PM | by Albert

iphone3gs-8gb

Rumors have it that AT&T will be releasing a iPhone 3GS 8GB version for a low $99. Why would they do this? To combat the attack of the DROID, so says the sources. A smart move, if this were to happen, as I imagine many would flock to the 3GS at this price point. The DROID may be cool and all but I’d definitely go for a $99 3GS with the backing of a HUGE library of apps.

AT&T is set to launch their new services this Sunday, including Voicemail To Text, AT&T Nation with Canada, and new Mobile TV channels/pricing. These are actually pretty cool new services so you might want to check them out:

  • Voicemail To Text - Does exactly what it says but is limited to 60 seconds. The transcribed message can be sent via SMS, email, or both for $9.99 per month. Note: moving to this service will delete all messages from your old voicemail.
  • AT&T Nation with Canada - Nothing more needs to be said about this one. You’ll get no long distances charges to Canada, 1,000 night and weekend minutes in the US and Canada with rollover and anytime minutes, A-List and early nights/weekends option.
  • New Mobile TV channels, coverage, and pricing - Three new channels to the Mobile TV function. No specifics on the channels but it’ll be some kind of comedy station, national broadcaster, and kid’s channel. Three new markets launching between now and December 11. Service will be dropping from $15 to $10 per month with Mobile TV plus unlimited data going from $30 down to $25.

Motorola Milestone Launches In Europe

November 2nd, 2009 9:14 PM | by Albert

motorola-milestone-droid

Looks like the Motorola Milestone aka DROID already launched in Europe. It’s the same phone as the DROID, basically, but WITH multitouch capabilities and without the free Google Nav app. Doesn’t really make sense why they left out multitouch on the DROID but I’m sure some enterprising hacker will take care of that.
