T-Mobile USA announced the Android 1.6 “Donut” upgrade for users of the G1 and MyTouch 3G phones. They’ve just begun the delivery so expect the Android 1.6 official build to be rolled out gradually over the air. So I guess it’s time to check your phone every half hour all you T-Mobile fans…I know I would, but I’m neurotic like that.

Finally, all you T-Mobile Android G1 users can receive voicemails “visually” through the free NowMessage.com service. After signing up for the service, voicemails are sent to your Gmail account (or any e-mail account) so you can check them by simply opening the message. Because it’s an e-mail, you can forward, delete, or store the message at any time-no more fumbling with the time consuming method of dialing into your voicemail.
