We heard about the HTC Touch Pro 2 a few weeks ago and now pricing for the handset has been released, albeit for Singapore.  I know, I know, that’s not the US or the UK, but it should provide some sort of indicator of what we should expect to pay for the unsubsidized handset.  So, without further a due, Singaporeans will pay $1,328 SGD, which is equivalent to $887 or €670.  The handset will go on sale there in June, which is around the same time we expect it in the West.

The S522 or Snap, which made its debut April 1st, has potentially shown up in FCC documents under the codename MAPL100, or Maple, which according to Engadget is the phone’s code name.  Additionally, the documents point to a T-Mobile launch based on the filed frequency band, 3G on the AWS. But as announced, the phone should be available for retail purchase, unlocked, in the US this summer, which doesn’t give T-Mobile the winning hand they want.

If you don’t recall the Snap checkout the post on our sister site.

This phone includes a 3.2MP camera, EVDO high speed connectivity, Windows Mobile 6.1 with TouchFlo, 2.76-inch touchscreen and microSD card slot for expansion.
