Android and iOS4 not your thing? Still don’t know what those two words mean? T-Mobile just released the LG Sentio. It’s just $70 on contract and includes a 3-inch touchscreen, some sort of “Social Buzz” feature, 3 megapixel camera, visual voicemail, 3G connectivity, customizable widgets and email access. In other words it’s cool enough on the outside, but kind of lame on the inside.
LG officially announced their “Pop” phone yesterday, better known as the GD510. It lays claim to being the most compact 3-inch touchscreen phone on the market today, although I’m not sure how they’re qualifying that statement. What’s really drawing headlines, though, is the optional solar panel back cover that can provide you with those added minutes of talk time when in a pinch. Other features include 8GB of storage, a single home button that doubles as a call start/end button (it blinks green for answer, red for end) and a 3 megapixel camera.
There’s no word on a price, but you can expect the LG GD510 in the EU this October with other markets following shortly behind.
LG announced their first Android-based smartphone, the LG GW620. Not much is known besides the 3 inch touchscreen and slide out QWERTY keyboard but expect more details in the near future. From the looks of it, it seems to be a pretty snazzy device, fairly thin for a slider. We’ll just have to wait and see.

Looks like LG will release their latest Chocolate phone sooner than later. That’s right the Bl40, the 4-inch touchscreen phone that we keep hearing about will launch later this month in Europe with other markets following sometime in October. Until then you’ll just have to be satisfied with the endless array of pics and videos that have been posted to the Web.
Would you spend $825 on a cell phone? I sure as hell wouldn’t, but if you want the latest in wrist communication that’s exactly how many ducets you’ll need to drop to get your hands on the LG GD910 Watch Phone. Orange will exclusively offer it at their Bond Street Station (in the UK) shop on Thursday, August the 27th. Don’t live near Bond Street? No problem, just ring up your chauffeur or pilot and I’m sure you can arrange a day trip to purchase this ridiculousy cool, but expensive mobile phone.
At this point I think it pretty fair to say that LG’s newest Chocolate phone, the BL40, is pretty massive in size. Take a look at this newly minted commercial and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Check out the woman’s hands in proportion to the phone. I mean, the thing truly is the size of a Hershey bar. By my estimates it’s gotta be almost 3/4 of an inch longer than the iPhone in order to squeeze in a screen that is .5-inch larger than Apple’s.
LG released the first official photo of their “New Chocolate” BL40 phone. By the looks of it the name seems very appropriate, judging by the sleek, tall, and thin form factor reminiscent of a Hershey bar. May not taste like one but it sure looks tantalizing, eh?
It finally looks like LG’s GD910 watch phone will be making its way to US shores sometime in the near future, at least according to this recently filed FCC document. There’s no official word from the company themselves and if you really want one sooner than later you’ll have to head overseas to the UK and pick one up at a local Orange store (do they have stores?). We’re still expecting it to cost a pretty penny contract or no contract.
Rumors have it that LG will be releasing the LG BL42 Chocolate slider, a sweet but bitterly dark phone that seems to be the spiritual successor to the original. It looks to be a mid-range phone with a sleek, sexy finish, HSDPA, stereo bluetooth 2.1, 240 x 320 QVGA display, slide-out keypad, touchpad, microSDHC, and 5 megapixel camera with flash and Schneider-Kreuznach optics.
LG has decided to tease us with a few obscure pics of their latest Chocolate phone until the official unveiling occurs sometime this August. Looks sexy, but so do many Myspace photos, that is until you meet them in person or see the full body shot.
