
T-Mobile USA announced the Android 1.6 “Donut” upgrade for users of the G1 and MyTouch 3G phones. They’ve just begun the delivery so expect the Android 1.6 official build to be rolled out gradually over the air. So I guess it’s time to check your phone every half hour all you T-Mobile fans…I know I would, but I’m neurotic like that.

T-Mobile announced the availability of their newest Android device, the much balleyhooed MyTouch 3G aka HTC Magic. Available in retail stores today, the MyTouch 3G is T-Mobile’s second Android device and features the following:
- 3.2 inch 320×480 HVGA touchscreen (no physical keyboard)
- 3.2 megapixel camera
- 512MB internal memory
- Wi-Fi
- Preloaded with 4GB microSD card (expandable to 16GB)

According to some leaked images, the name of the successor to the T-Mobile G1 is not the “G2″ as it was widely reported. If the images are to be believed, it’ll be called the “T-Mobile MyTouch 3G”? Maybe it’s just me but there’s something…wrong with that name.
