It looks like T-Mobile will be launching a new Samsung handset tomorrow called the T559 Comeback . Under the hood of the horizontal flip screen is a full QWERTY keybaord, while the back of the phone sports a 2 megapixel camera. Connectivity wise were looking at quad-band GSM with 3G and for features expect Bluetooth, microSD card slot, music player and an external 128×128 display. Price will be revealed tomorrow.
Finally, T-Mobile has come clean with the actual launch date for the Dash 3G: July 8th. Expect the QWERTY handset to cost $170 after a 2-year contract signing, but it’s not clear yet if there will be a mail-in-rebate or not. The Dash 3G originally surfaced as the HTC Snap, which is being adopted by good old Sprint.
It was just 3 days ago that leaked word came through that Verizon’s HTC Ozone was set for release on June 29th. Guess what? Verizon made it official today, and as stated before it will cost $49.99 after a 2-year and $70 mail-in-rebate. Spec wise it’s a full QWERTY keyboard phone with built-in WiFi, 1500 mAh battery, global roaming enabled and the usual VZW stuff such as visual voicemail, VZW navigator and more.
Starting June 28th AT&T customers will be able to pick up the Motorola Karma. I know, I know, it’s far from exciting, but it does look to be a solid midranged QWERTY keyboarded phone. Other features include a 2 megapixel camera, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 100mb built-in storage with microSD card slot and quick short cuts to the popular social networking sites. When it does go on sale in a few days it will cost $79.99 after a 2-year and $50 mail-in-rebate. If you’re interested AT&T has put together a video walk through.
Leaked info hit this morning about Verizon’s HTC Ozone, yet another QWERTY keyboarded phone. It will arrive June 29th (July 13th in store) and cost $49.99 after a 2-year contract signing and mail-in-rebate. Spec wise we’re looking at EV-DO connectivity, 2.4-inch QVGA screen, WiFi, Bluetooth with A2DP, media player, 2 megapixel camera, microSD card slot, GPS and Windows Mobile 6.1. Sprint may have already announced the HTC Snap, but that hasn’t stopped T-Mobile from adopting the handset and giving it a little of their own branding. That’s right, the HTC Snap, aka S522, will be the Dash 3G. There really isn’t much to revel at, but just in case you’re wondering it’s sporting Windows Mobile 6.1, WiFi, GPS, full QWERTY and a mouse button that when pressed jumps you to your 20 favorite contacts. Expect it sometime this July for a yet to be disclosed price.

Mobile Crunch says they’ve got the scoop on Nokia’s next MID, the follow up to the N810. Called the Nokia N900 (it might also be called the “Rover”, or “Maemo Flagship”), it sports an overall smaller form factor but the same 3.5-inch touchscreen found in the N810 with a higher resolution of 800×480. Under the hood is an OMAP3430 500/600 Mhz processor and much like many of today’s handheld devices it includes an accelerometer and aGPS.
What really separates the N900 from the N810 is that this is in fact a full blown smartphone with GSM Quad-Band and WCDMA connectivity. Although their leaked documents don’t explicitly read T-Mobile they believe that the instances of “TMO” reffer to the carrier and if true mean an international launch date of July and the US following in August or September and the EU in October.
Turns out that I was wrong and the enV3 and enV Touch are in fact two different phones. To clear up any confusion a Howard Forum member managed to score the enV3 before official release and put together one of those wonderfully intriguing over head videos. I didn’t use the enV2, but the enV3 doesn’t appear to have that many improvements with the exception of a sleeker form factor. Word on the street is that it will officially launch May 29th and cost $179.99 after a 2-year contract singing and $50 mail-in-rebate.
