Expect the QWERTY handset to cost $170 after a 2-year contract signing, but it’s not clear yet if there will be a mail-in-rebate or not. The Dash 3G originally surfaced as the HTC Snap, which is being adopted by good old Sprint.

Sprint may have already announced the HTC Snap, but that hasn’t stopped T-Mobile from adopting the handset and giving it a little of their own branding. That’s right, the HTC Snap, aka S522, will be the Dash 3G. There really isn’t much to revel at, but just in case you’re wondering it’s sporting Windows Mobile 6.1, WiFi, GPS, full QWERTY and a mouse button that when pressed jumps you to your 20 favorite contacts. Expect it sometime this July for a yet to be disclosed price.

According to sources, a photo of T-Mobile’s Samsung Bigfoot has been found. Supposedly, it sports an Android OS, 3 megapixel camera, 3″ capacitive AMOLED touchscreen, supports UMTS/HSDPA, walks on two legs, and has hairy, lime-green feet. Expect a summer appearance from T-Mobile USA.

While I’m not one to make a stink about typos, this one certainly warrants some attention. It would appear that T-Mobile’s Austria website posted a placeholder for a 32GB iPhone. Since Austria isn’t probably at the top of Apple’s list for distribution of the soon to arrive generation 3 iPhone I’m not sure how much weight the slip up should hold, but it most certainly brings creedence to many of the rumors regarding a 32GB iPhone that we’ve been hearing about.

T-Mobile announced the Android 1.5 update to G1 users will be delayed due to ongoing build optimizations. What that means exactly no one knows but I’m sure they’re ironing out the final kinks before release. Expect a delay of a week (or month, several months?) because you never know with the fickle nature of software updates.

Word on the street is that the 3G enabled BlackBerry Onyx aka Driftwood will be coming to T-Mobile this fall. The new, sexier phone will likely feature 3G (rejoice all you T-Mobile users), UMA support, UMTS/HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, optical trackpad (heard good things about this), 480×360 screen, and a carbon fiber-like back cover.
Onyx will supposedly launch as the BlackBerry Curve 9600 this fall for $199 with 2 year contract.

It seems an image of the T-Mobile G1 v2 has been leaked on the net. If the pic is real, it seems to be very iPhone-like but with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard…and much more sexier than the current G1 to boot. Heck, who needs the G2/Magic/MyWhatever when you can get this sleek device for probably cheaper.
