Mozilla’s mobile browser, aka Fennec, is now available to all Windows Mobile 6 devices. This version improves stability, performance, integration, reduces memory usage, and works better on smaller screens. Sounds like it’s worth a try but expect a few bugs since it’s still an alpha 1 release. Download here.

Other features include:

  • New Add-Ons Manager
  • New Downloads Manager
  • New CSS based theme
  • TraceMonkey, Mozilla’s new JavaScript engine
  • jemalloc, the memory management library used by Mozillla.
  • Faster application start-up time
  • Faster panning
  • Faster zooming
  • Initial implementation of bookmark folders and bookmark editing
